Ladies love baking cookies and other desserts which includes baking fruitcakes, coffee cakes, bread, and buns. But when it comes to the guest we love treating them and exchanging some of it.

Baking Cookies and cakes are very dear to every woman. And when it comes to sharing a recipe, people hesitate to share. But you need not worry we are here to help you with it and here it goes.

The easy way to cook oatmeal and mini chip crisps and baking cookies:

Holiday time is cooking something different from the rest of the day. Also, baking makes the day after every meal.

Each guest is special. And when it comes to conversation and tea/coffee with them, everyone has a big plate full of a variety of baked cookies, chips to serve and enjoy and take away home.

It isn’t a tough recipe to understand, neither it requires many cooking or baking tools. You can make it easily at home within a couple of minutes.


You would need measuring cups, measuring spoon, a bowl. Because everyone loves chocolate chips so we add some choco chips to the recipe. Shredded coconut and dried nuts also a good substitute for chocolate chips in baking cookies.

Since the dough is prepared for baking cookies, you need to chill the dough in the refrigerator an hour ago before baking them.

These cookies are so easy to make that even children can bake them right away. Though these cookies are made very fragile that even the elders will be able to eat them, in case of a sweet tooth and everyone in the house will enjoy eating them.

Testing of baking of cookies is the best part of the process, definitely eating is on the top one. But to understand a perfect baking –warm, fresh fragrance fills the air which is mouthwatering.

Come now, let’s not waste a minute and start baking.



1/4th cup of water

3/4th cup of regular flour

1/2 cup of cooking oats

½ cup of brown sugar (if not available can add white sugar)

½ teaspoon of baking soda

½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon/cinnamon

½ cup of canola oil

½ teaspoon salt

1/4th teaspoon of nutmeg

1 mini cup of chocolate chips

1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Baking them:


Preheat the oven to 350°C

Sieve flour, cinnamon, baking powder, salt and nutmeg in a bowl. Mix them together.

Add the remaining ingredients in the bowl of dry ingredients and using the spoon mix them well.

Mix well to form a dough.

Grease your hands and take small portions of the dough converting it into flat cookies.

Chill the cookies for an hour.

Grease the baking container and apply wax paper over it.

Drop the cookies on the sheet leaving two inches of gap between them.

Place the pan in the middle of the rack and let the cookies bake for around a10 to 12 minutes.

Let the cookies cool and is ready to serve.

You might prepare 30 to 40 cookies in one go. To prepare in a larger quantity or for you can either repeat the process or double the ingredients.
