Ingredients to be used in Matar Paneer Recipe
- 250g Paneer
- 200g Matar
- 1-inch ginger piece
- 2 onions
- 2 tomatoes
- ¾ teaspoon jeera (Cumin Seed)
- 2 to 3 pieces of red chilli
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- ½ teaspoon Garam Masala
- 2 teaspoons fresh cream
- Salt According to the taste
- ½ teaspoon Kasturi Methi
- ¾ teaspoon red chilli powder
- 2 tbsp oil
- Coriander leaves chopped finely to garnish
How to cook Restaurant Style Matar Paneer Recipe at home?
Step 1: First of all, add 2 chopped onions and ginger in a mixer and add some water to it and mix it well and make a paste.
Step 2: Now take “frying pan” or “kadhai”, pour some oil and heat it.
3rd Step: When the oil gets hot, then add ¾ spoon jeera and cook it until it turns red. When the cumin seed turns red, add the onion and ginger paste, which was in your mix, and fry it for 5 to 7 minutes.
Step 4: Now add 2 Kashmiri red chilies in it, then add 1 spoon coriander powder, ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt flavor and fry all the spices well until the spices do not spill a bit of oil.
Step 5: When the spices start leaving the oil, then add tomato puree and mix it well with all the spices.
6th Step: When all the spices mix well then you add peas and mix well with the spices for 2 minutes and then add half cup water and stir well and apply the lid to it and let it cook well for 5 minutes.
Step 7: After 5 minutes, remove the lid and add the paste of chopped paneer in it, then add cream and mix well. Now add little Masala, Kasthuri Methi, Red Chili Powder and mix it and cook until it is boiled.
Step 8: When there is a little boil in it, turn off the gas and put it on the plate and eat it with Roti, Naan or Rice.
