Palak Paneer Recipe

Palak Paneer Ingredients

  • 200 gms cottage Paneer
  • 250 gm spinach
  • Onion 1 pc
  • Chopped tomato 1 pc
  • 1 piece of ginger
  • 3 green chillies
  • Cumin seed 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 4 teaspoon oil
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Garam Masala
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cream
  • Salt as per taste
  • How to cook
  • To make Palak Paneer, we will first

For Paste (Grevy)

  • Boil the spinach with water in a vessel
  • After the spinach is boiled, take out the water and cool it
  • Mix it with the help of Mixer
  • After this, we will heat a little oil in a pan
  • Fry the cumin seeds
  • Add ginger and garlic
  • After this, we will add onion and fry for 2-3 minutes
  • After frying onion, add tomato in it and fry them for 2-3 minutes too.
  • Now switch off the gas stove
  • After cooling, with the help of a mixer, grind the above ingredients
  • Keep the paste aside

For Vegetable (Course)

  • Heat oil in Kadai
  • Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and cumin powder
  • Fry for 30 seconds and then add the paste that kept aside
  • Cover and cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes
  • Now add paneer pieces and fresh cream in this paste

  • Then mix them with light hands so that the pieces of paneer do not break
  • After adding garam masala powder and salt, mix it again with light hands
  • Again cook for 2-3 minutes and stop the gas
